In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and refining SEO plans to boost online visibility, improve search rankings, and drive long-term organic growth. Job Responsibilities
SEO Strategy Development:
- Lead the development and execution of data-driven SEO strategies to achieve business goals.
- Conduct in-depth competitor analysis and keyword research to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive SEO roadmaps and prioritize tasks based on business impact.
- Stay ahead of SEO trends, providing strategic insights to optimize website performance and user experience.
Team Leadership & Mentoring:
- Guide and mentor SEO executives to ensure they are aligned with overall SEO strategy.
- Conduct regular team training sessions to keep up with industry trends and updates.
- Provide feedback and reviews for team members’ work to ensure high-quality deliverables.
On-Page & Off-Page SEO:
- Oversee on-page optimization including keyword targeting, meta optimization, URL structure, and content alignment.
- Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies to build high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority.
- Monitor SERP rankings, analyze performance data, and make strategic recommendations.
Technical SEO Implementation:
- Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with development teams to fix any issues affecting performance.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and overall website performance.
- Ensure best practices for technical SEO including site architecture, schema markup, canonical tags, and proper crawling/indexing.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor and report SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party tools.
- Develop regular reports on organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversions, and SEO impact.
- Analyze and report on SEO metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve strategies.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with development, content, and marketing teams to align SEO efforts with other digital marketing strategies.
- Provide strategic insights and feedback during website redesigns, migrations, and other major changes.
- Participate in client meetings, offering expert SEO advice to optimize their digital presence.
Technical Skills Required
- Deep understanding of SEO tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and others.
- Expertise in technical SEO, including site structure optimization, page speed optimization (Core Web Vitals), and mobile-first indexing.
- Proficient in using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement SEO recommendations and solve issues.
- Knowledge of advanced SEO strategies for both on-page and off-page optimization, including structured data, internal linking, and link-building.
- Experience in SEO for international websites, multi-language SEO, and eCommerce SEO.
Non-Technical Skills Required
- Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding and mentoring teams.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, content creators, and marketing teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously.
