In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and securing our IT systems, ensuring smooth network operations, and providing technical support to our team. Job Responsibilities

Network Administration:

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices to support the company’s operations.

Server Management:

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, both physical and virtual, to support business applications and services.
  • Perform routine server monitoring and ensure system reliability and security.

User Account Management:

  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls, ensuring proper authentication and authorization for employees across the organization.

Backup and Recovery:

  • Implement and manage data backup solutions to prevent data loss, and establish recovery procedures to minimize downtime in case of system failures.

Security Maintenance:

  • Implement and enforce security policies, including firewall configurations, conduct regular security audits, and install security patches to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure from cyber threats.

Firewall Configuration:

  • Configure and manage firewall settings to control and monitor network traffic, ensuring that only authorized and secure communication is allowed.
  • Regularly update firewall rules to adapt to changing security needs and potential threats.

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, including firewall-related concerns.

Email System Administration:

  • Manage and administer email systems, ensuring reliable and secure communication within the organization. Implement spam filters and other security measures to protect email accounts.

Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge transfer and future reference.

Compliance and Regulation:

  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards. Implement necessary measures to meet data protection and privacy requirements.

Hardware Support:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues for servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on hardware components to prevent failures and optimize performance.
