The website had an intricate hierarchy, starting from main categories and branching into subcategories and product pages. Managing this layout while maintaining seamless navigation was a major hurdle.

The product pages featured numerous sections, each with unique designs. Managing these within Webflow’s CMS field limits while retaining flexibility presented significant obstacles.

We utilized multi-reference fields combined with Webflow’s conditional logic to organize the intricate category and product hierarchy. This dynamic structure seamlessly connected main categories, subcategories, and product pages, ensuring smooth navigation and a user-friendly experience.

For the unique layout designs required at each category level, we integrated custom code with Webflow’s built-in features. This approach allowed us to dynamically adjust layouts, ensuring each category had a distinctive and functional design while maintaining consistency across the website.

We incorporated external fields to accommodate the detailed product pages. By strategically creating fields in a secondary CMS and linking them to the product CMS, we ensured all required data was included without exceeding the CMS field limit. This solution overcame Webflow’s field limitations, enabling us to include all essential content while ensuring flexibility for future updates and scalability.
